Without a dual camera setup, the Google Pixel 2 has only one camera, but it can also do the blurring of the background when taking Portrait mode photos. It has a dual pixel sense technology thus there is no need for a second or dual camera to blur the background.

With the absence of the 3.5mm headphone jack now the phone is more resistant against water and dust. The only available port is the USB-C
