The Garmin Speak Plus is not only a navigation tool but can also follow your voice commands to use it to play music, command it to read the news for you and many more because it has a Amazon Alexa built-in. It also has a built-in dash cam so that you can record your driving plus it has a collision warning and lane departure warning as well. This is a equivalent of Google Home and Apple HomePod for your automobile.

Features

Built-in Dash Cam

Connect it to the cigarette lighter plug, then it automatically powers on and start recording once you start your vehicle. It also has a forward collision warning and lane departure warning all automatically detects on the camera.

Alexa Voice Recognition

Its like a personal assistant inside your car that can follow any voice recognition and can do turn-by-turn navigation by using alexa. You can also create to do list, play your favorite music, check traffic and weather, remotely control your smart home devices.

Compatible with Garmin Speak App

Connect it to your smartphone via wireless bluetooth and you can instantly play your smartphone music to the stereo, you can also take calls or stream Alexa responses. Note that you must have a cellular data connection to access online content.

Simple Directions Display

On the device it will display arrows or turn signs when you are near or oncoming into it. Simple to follow means less distractions, you only need to glance it rather than stare it compared to a normal GPS screen devices.

My personal thoughts and opinions/final verdict

If you need a simple to use and easy to follow directions gps with the ability of smart voice recognition this is the one for you. But the let down is the dash cam, I wish they made it more wide angle so that it may capture the whole view of the windshield.
