Overview

This is the 55-inch version of the Sony's X720E 4K HDTV series. It features 4K picture enhancing technology like the X-Reality PRO that works well in tandem with Motionflow XR for smoother and ultra clear picture quality. The ClearAudio+ will further enhance the 10 watts speakers while watching your favorite movie or watching streaming services like Youtube or Netflix.

Further enhances the picture quality for more detail and sharpness making it slightly realistic and natural like.

Dynamic Contrast Enhancer

It enhances the contrast between dark and whites. Blacks are much more darker and lights appear as they are being lit up. Thus improving the realism to the screen.

ClearAudio+

Further enhances the 20 Watts front facing surround speakers to be much more clearer and premium sounding, and with the help of Dolby Digital Surround, it will easily fill up and surround your room with sound for much more immersive listening experience.

Motionflow XR 240

Enhances the fluidity and smoothness of the screen when viewing fast paced action pack scenes like car chase scenes. Moving images will appear smoother and it will lessen the image stuttering or lagging.

Pros:

Excellent picture quality
The speakers are great

Cons:

No bluetooth connectivity for headphones or wireless speakers
The 60Hz refresh rate is on the smaller side

Verdict

This is the largest of the X720E, this is the HDTV to go for. It is a little expensive among the series but you get to enjoy the whole 4K HD experience on the largest screen. The only downside is of all among the series is that there is no bluetooth connectivity for your headphones or wireless speakers. But overall this HDTV has excellent performance especially the picture quality.
