Overview
This is the new version of the JBL and it is called Flip 5 which is an improvement over the past version of the flip series like it gets bigger and improved sound, better battery life and now it has USB Type-C charging which means it can charge much more faster compared to an older version of the flip series. It will still retain its waterproofing capability and the built-in microphone for hands-free calling.

Verdict:
The new JBL Flip 5 is now an improved version compared to the older version and the main feature is the USB Type-C charging interface which means it can now charge much more faster compared to an old micro USB. The sound is also improved, noticeably it has more bass, although the battery not so much. It still retains other features that are also available on other JBL flip series. For around 100 dollars this is a great Bluetooth speaker for the price and features.
